A comprehensive adaptive reuse project involving the conversion of an existing commercial building into a modern automotive repair and service facility. The renovation included removal of an existing mezzanine level to create a high-clearance workspace for vehicle lifts and repair equipment, requiring reinforcement of existing steel columns, beams, and framing systems to accommodate revised load paths. Extensive analysis and strengthening of the exterior CMU wall system led to the design of a new perimeter steel girder system providing lateral support and improved structural performance. Additional work included foundation modifications, localized reinforcements, and coordination of specialized equipment loads, resulting in a cost-effective transformation of the original structure into a modern service facility.
