A hospitality and entertainment venue expansion featuring a new two-story exterior deck structure designed to increase occupancy and enhance the functionality of an urban nightlife destination. The project utilized a structural steel framing system with steel columns, beams, and composite deck framing to support large occupant loads and create open gathering spaces. The steel superstructure was integrated with the existing building to connect seamlessly with interior venue spaces while minimizing impacts on ongoing operations and adjacent properties. Due to the constrained urban site, the project required careful coordination of structural connections, load transfer systems, and construction sequencing, resulting in durable elevated outdoor entertainment spaces that support the venue’s modern architectural and operational goals.
